Christopher W. Dallas is an associate with Breen & Pugh.
During law school at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law (UIC Law), Dallas worked at Breen & Pugh as a law clerk assisting the attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. At UIC Law, Dallas was a member of the UIC Law Review and worked in the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic.
Dallas’s law review article, The Plain Meaning of Sex: A Note on Bostock v. Clayton County 55 UIC L. Rev. 357 (2022) was published in the March 2022 Law Review. In the UIC Law Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, Dallas worked on a variety of federal and state criminal and civil matters. Dallas helped to prepare a federal civil rights case for trial, which ultimately resulted in a favorable settlement for the client. Dallas simultaneously assisted this same client in preparing a federal habeas petition. Dallas also represented an incarcerated man seeking release on mandatory supervised release (formerly called parole) before the Illinois Prisoner Review Board.
After graduating from the UIC Law magna cum laude and being sworn in as an attorney by the Illinois Supreme Court, Dallas joined Breen & Pugh as an attorney in 2022. Currently, Dallas handles a wide array of criminal defense matters in federal and state trial and appellate courts.
